EFFECTS OF WEED CONTROL ON SEED YIELD AND FATTY OIL RATIO OF BLACK CUMIN (Nigella sativa L.)

Nigella sativa, also known as black cumin, is one of the medicinal plants, its seeds show a wide therapeutic potential, and they are used spice in different kind foods. The effects herbicides on yield some components Cameli Black cumin cultivar under Adana ecological conditions were investigated this experiment that conducted between 2015-2016, 2016-2017 2017-2018 growing seasons Research Application Area Field Crops Department Agricultural Faculty Cukurova University. Three applied nine applications. Plant height, number branches, capsules plant, seed oil ratio differed according to application periods. highest was obtained from treatment hand hoeing. Malondialdehyde proline analysis performed detect oxidative stress it found hoeing caused less plants compared other treatments.
